Kiss on Words
If you kiss a poet
similes will slide smooth as silk
over your lips
and metaphors will glide like honey
down your throat,
toward the sweet of your heart.
Love will assume you comprehend
and pretty soon you might even respond
with a poem of your own.
If she kisses you back
You'll taste hints of cinnamon and vanilla
and invent new colors called
basil and wheat.
Hyperboles will linger on your tongue and
You'll look into her eyes
and see your ocean,
and the tender feel of her skin
will make you sink into her world.
You will recall the word beautiful
but call her radiant.
Waiting for the next kiss
will seem an eternity,
your soul will cry out for more
but now, more, will never be enough.
If you kiss a poet,
she'll surely interject, with
an ohh... and an ahh...
and if you happen to see
a tear fall from her eye
you'll be the first to hear
her words to her new song.

RWR, thats the place it all comes from with me. Thats how it all got started for me a year ago with poetry.
i love everything about poetry...I'm pretty sure "life" is poetry now. im not kidding....its crazy good!!!

Life is poetry Linda...
Life is poetry Linda... Nobody loves life more ultimately than a poet... Poets see all the beauty in the world and deal with all the emotions of life in a beautiful way. You make this world beautiful because of who you are and the way that bring love, and feelings into this world... Yoy are not only a poet ... you one of ther elite poets... My only regret is that i don't have enough time tio read or write more poems! My life ... My love! I liked the way that you expressed the way that we feed off of each other in a good way... one great poem truly leads to another!
