I am a flower
Ready to bloom
I am a song
In my own heart
I am a tree
Among bright green
I am honey
Sweet nectar love
I am the sky
In heaven
And earth
I am a peach
Ripened from
Your touch
I am glitter
I am gold
of dazzling lust
I am a grape
Hanging on a vine
I am wine
With berry hints
I am crimson
Dizzying, in silk
I am diamonds
In your eyes
I am fingers
Strumming a tune
I am tender
At night
Under the moon
I am a dance
I didn’t want
To miss
I’m just a girl
In a state of
Bliss.

Thanks Ron, last night i was just reminising on how lucky I am that poetry came into my life. I still can't believe what it has done for me. I actually "feel" like that flower that has "bloomed". Its amazing to me.

I'm not a girl
but I love this write! I'm so glad I've gotten more into your stuff recently, Linda. This has such a nice flow; I love the quick lines and how it glides. I think women are such magical creatures and really appreciate all these metaphors and images.
