Peter Parker seems meek and mild
his alter ego is scary and wild
a tangled web this Spiderman does weave
and though he seems a tad strange I'm unable leave
so I feel like a bug that flew into his trap
and have been mesmerized with his inner child crap
I don't know if that is good or bad
or if I should be feeling happy or sad
but he is a spider, after all
and I am stuck in his sticky food wall
so I realize as I'm here entangled and wrapped up
that I may discover that I'm his next sup
and that he will drain my soul and mind
leaving only my intact body husk behind
