first time sharing
to write a poem for all to see
is sorta, kinda,scaring me
im not quite sure on what to write
but i sure do hope its shear delight
things i see i put in rhymes
ive done it several hundred times
my mind fills up with the things i see
i picture things in poetry
only thoses closest to me
have seen my so called poetry
so here today i took the first step
out of the closet i have lept
i have so much poetry on my mind
to all of you i share 1st time
so let me know about my rhyme
ill make them better every time.

it's something I'm not very good at but I admire other peoples abilities. You had a nice rthym going here. raskin

that write of first time sharing was a neat idea....nice to put ur faith in us and to get that confidence high, sharing your work can be a bit scary to begin with but soon enough, you will get hooked, you wont wanna log outa this place, welcome to the site and I will look out for more of ur stuff....peace.

You did better than me in your first attempt - because you put in lots of rhymes and i'm just a beginner not knowing which way to go. But i hope i get better as time goes by and add a little life if i try. d.r.
