True Beauty
As I gaze upon the sky, true beauty taunts my touch.
As I gaze upon the ground, true beauty asks so much.
As I gaze upon the sea, true beauty says to look.
Though I would already have true beauty, if that were all it took.
I journey through forgotten hills, true beauty never shows.
I journey through lush oasis, but true beauty always knows.
I journey through parched deserts, true beauty is dead to the world.
But there is where I expect to find true beauty, slowly being unfurled.
I cry in my dreams of true beauty, where all power is not so good.
I cry in my dreams of true beauty, where pain is etched as in wood.
I cry in my dreams of true beauty, “Why do you stand to live this?”
And only in my dreams of true beauty, would she ever give me a kiss.
I sit in a glade with true beauty, comforting all who are sad.
I sit in a cloud with true beauty, forgiving all who were bad.
I sit on a with true beauty, condemning all who cause strife.
I ask true beauty “Where are we?”, she says “In this place that is Life”.
