Mother

When the hooded father came near, he cried
No one seemed to care for his wife
Giving energy to dead branches

He quickly cut the limbs
Creating a birth of new life

Blind beings
Seeing only wire and steel
My wife is crying for help
Can't you see?

The hooded father walk closer
When he knelt down he saw their faces
Of the elder long ago
The creators

Faces of the givers
Engraved into the throne
Only, somethings wrong

Its upside down

The hooded father extends his right hand
Reaching the tallest branch
Pulling hard, he flips the throne
Right-side up

The hooded man walks back
Smiling

I can see the difference already
The sky is turning blue
The clouds white and dancing

This throne, my wife will bear
Me
Once again, as in the old

So i can watch over
This tangled world

They didn't get it right
Maybe the second time
They started out well

Then fell

When you feel that special breeze
Blown from a unruffled stream
Bathing your heart in ice
Thats when the hooded father
Has entangled another knot
