there was a debate
about love and sex,
and how in the end,
women and men,
are made to be different,
and how its really about,
progression of a species,
men looking for younger women to breed,
women looking for older men for need,
to believe we are no more than animals
This is your way?
Here is what I have to say....
There was a girl I met,
who was special in every way,
I desired her, day after day,
and desire turned into love,
as it grew inside of me,
and she encountered events,
that could have cost her her life,
triggered these thoughts inside....
I would be her legs if she could no longer walk,
I would hold up queue cards if she could no longer talk,
I would have reached her the spoon or brushed her hair,
held her tight during all the nightmares.
So progression of species is what you use
to justify your ways,
but love is the ultimate trump card,
I will keep close to me.
