Mother

As oft a fierce and wild wind, whirls multitude direction,
Just as sure, something occurs, shifting my subjection,
Restful waters, clear and calm, transformed now is my situ,
Thank you to ‘ma belle maman’, no title more befits you.

Dwelling twixt, at least for me, advisor and companion,
Natural beauty, sparkling stream, easing sun drenched canyon.
Loyal of thought, compassionate port, intelligent, fraternal,
Requital deeds, indeed they lead, to true love most eternal.

This is truly beautiful

Thanks Jewel (can I call you Jewel?), I'm lucky to have such an inspiration for this one, I'll post a few old and make a few new in the next few weeks, and take a look at yours!

A beautifully written piece here Lee, and can see the influence from Blake in this one!

I also noticed your admiration of Auden,
he's a great inspiration to me also.

Thanks for sharing this,

Debs~

Thank You

Thanks for your comment, you spotted the Blake influence then (it is very apparent!).

Yes, Auden is probably the one, though it depends on my general mood really. Look out for me and my monocle (or should that be my monocle and eye...sorry...) in the pages of your posts!
