Carols in the park
Christmas carols in the park
Children candles lit the dark
Santa tempers his fake bark
Long journey from Noah’s ark
Children line up in a frenzy queue
Photo with Santa confirms their joy
Whispers to secrets, each promise due
Merry the bells from each wished toy
Jingle bells and deck the halls
La la la sings the community choir
Winter lights shine the snowfalls
Hallelujah chant the church spires
Leather gloves, red scarves, display scores
Eyes lead voices in harmonious core
Bright Smiles as wreath dressed doors
Baton hands lit skies from shore to shore
Mantels decked with ribbons and socks
Wishes to gifts children’s want
It’s midnight all the grandfather clocks
Tones from Dickens’s favorite haunt

why now
Leaking Pen
I took the chritmass tree down yesterday, and found two small gifts of mine still unopened on its skirt, I went searching through my notes and found this unfinished poem, I added few lines here and there, and voila the story behind my belated christmass poem

We Need a Little Christmas Right This Very Minute
Paul,
Christmas is such a beautiful feeling. I believe that we should celebrate Christmas every day.
Public schools in America rarely teach Christmas carols. For that matter, they rarely teach music, they think it is a waste of valuable learning time.
I love your heart and the joy you spread in each verse you create. I bet you had a grand Christmas tree.
I love Charles Dicken's, "Christmas Carol".
Life moves so quickly and ... "We need a little Christmas right this very minute" ... "Mame".
We must remember to write Christmas poetry all year long ... it brings such tidings of comfort and joy!
Your treasury of poetry is expanding and so is your heart.
I love the idea of carols in the park too.
Love,
