Teenage Love
This is how it was
My first love, where butterflies ever flew
The anticipated act. We walked the
Edge of the forest road and fell upon
Each other like two sown -seeds
That made the blackberry bushes blush.
We entered each other not once but
Countless times such was the passion of
Fired flesh in the flame of teenage love
That returns in the shape of an undying memory
In a forest in the full flush of Spring on a Scottish
Hillside when we were young and we painted
The color of unbridled teenage love.
