I write under immediate command
Direct from the intuitive center, which,
May terminate in original idiocy and motivate you
To get in touch with the 'Idiot Diety'
That resides in all of us, the source of much
Of the pious drivel that propels Christians to seek
A quick end to the world in which they live!
This process, in which I write, is,I feel written
In a moment of mental paroxysun-as to what that means
Is, at present completely beyond me. No! my brain's supply
Of oxygen appears reasonable; my underwear is not on fire,
And I have no left my heart 'in the highlands' nor in an
English garden. looking for dictionaries amongst the tulips.
These sharp-could'nt care less constructed lines should
Indicate to you the dynamic charges in intuitive pulsations
That plunder the brain that does combat with the many units
Of mental madness attached to one's poetical apparatus.
The intention here, to you devout readers and writers of poems
Is to batter your intellects in an effort to engage you
In this audacious, outrageous,experiments in original idiocy.
And, as poetry can't really do without music, when you feel
The former come upon you, don a pair of ballerina tights
And to the tune of the 'Sugar Plum Fairy' by Jikoski(note how I have
Put the sound factor over correct spelling in the composer's name)
You must then invent your own dance steps that requires
Little thought or intelligence to express, perhaps blue slander
In motion may best describe your first attempt, plus a certain
Amount of pain in the groin area, but, do persevere in this
Experiment in 'Idiocy' recording exactly,-as I have done here-
Any verse,phrase that drops in on you, and you can learn
To believe anything at all about yourself for instance like Ahab of
'Moby Dick' and I insist that this experiment is a kind of new
Knowledge as opposed to "brute,subjective emotion."
Let your new being swarm with signs and meaning that will deliver
Your mind,at one stroke, to new universes.
