Balancing on the edge of a cliff
How long will it last?
Is it really real?
Or just a figment of my imagination?
One blink and it is gone....

Pulling the wool over my eyes
Pretending things are fine
Is this the real deal?
Or am I blind to hope?
You can only wish for the best....

Happiness is a fluke
A chance win on the roulette wheel
What did I do to deserve this?
How did this happen?
Now am I a victim of fate?
I don't think I'll ever know....

Happiness is a joker
When you want it, it cannot be found
Then it pounces on you
When you least expect it
Can you depend on it to stay?
I guess I'll have to go with the flow....
