After sleepless nights of wandering
The liegemen’s blood is full of revenge
At the sight of the lake they stood stunning
Looking down from the high cliff edge

Serpents and dragons, the warrior was undaunted
He dove in the lake for a day and a night
The liegemen waited at the lake of the haunted
Then the lake frothed with blood and the men took fright

Out came the warrior, fighting the surface
The men helped him out, surprised by his prize
They walked back home, now with a purpose
And hung the monsters head, its behemoth size
