Warrior Queen
Boudicea was she
queen of the Iceni tribe,
she was very tough and never gave in
to any Roman bribe.
They ravaged her daughters
and flogged her too,
revenge was her goal
and they had no clue.
fearful they were
of her long red hair,
her booming voice
and formidable stare.
With her people behind her
she marched with force,
a colorful tunic,
a chariot and horse.
And although defeated
she will always be,
the great warrior and friend
of her people, the Iceni.
