a seething mass of hatred
curled on the stairs
hoping sobs will awaken slumbering sympathy
crippled with misery
can't breathe through the tears
blinded by hatred
frustration simmers like stagnant water
how dare you sleep!
may my tears taint your dreams
may by heartache make you restless
apathetic in your arrogance
oh, i'm sorry....is my misery keeping you awake?
