Word War I
A modern poet
Like modern art
A bucket of words
Thoughts
Thrown randomly
Against a blank mind:
OF DEPTH NIGHT THIS
IN TRUTH VISION THIS
THE REAL REVELATION A
PONDER THE SIGHT OF
DELIVERS AND UNREAL
A master of media
Spinning emotions
In splatters
In matters
Undefined
Chaos uninterrupted
A blend of color
Crossing lines
Yelling
Please
Pull me together
Lost in the diatribe
Nonsense refined
Armed and dangerous
Word War I

This is good work. I dig the tension here. The noise in the head. That makes for good poetry as long as we don't try to make it pretty. There is nothing pretty about this poem. It is good and raw. Just what I needed this evening.

RWR,
I am so glad you "dug" my "Word War I" poem. I enjoyed writing it and believe there is a lot of truth in it! There is nothing pretty about word wars. What's in a word? Heaven or Hell are in our words. It is how we choose to arrange them that makes all the difference in the world.
Again, thanks for your support. I am happy to meet you.
Warm regards,
Kathy Paysen
