A world hushed in wonder
By sweet miracles in snow
A world wedded in white
Marriage of sky to earth
Their promise of harvest

I would love to be in a snowfall right now. There is something very spiritual about snow. My Mom grew up in North Dakota and she used to go on horse drawn sleigh rides with buffalo hides to keep her warm. Doesn't that sound like so much fun? I can almost hear the sleigh moving through the woods.
My father was in the military. I lived in Germany when I was in High School. I traveled on a school bus through a beautiful forest every day. There was lots of snow there.
