Tibet's Child
Soft pastels brush on Tibet’s peaks
Like the petals of blushing cheeks
Blossoming into a glowing sunrise
Surrendering to the blue shadows
Bursting over the Earth’s horizon
To slumber over peaceful valleys
Sitting majestically in green hearts
Holding the compassionate tears
Of Creation’s loving eyes welling
Tears of joy on Himalayan children
Destined to deliver God’s kindness
As prayers rise in storming clouds
“My religion is very simple.
My religion is kindness.” – Dalai Lama
