Should we render all authority to Caesar,
Or should we give God what belongs to God?
If by chance, we turn from our loving God,
Does Caesar become the heir of all our living?
When we magnify Caesar’s authority,
Are we denouncing our God given rights?

Freedom is not a scale of justice,
Rather, it is the wisdom to discern
God in all you do and all you say.
When you find God, you find your way,
Back to the balance of God and being governed.

Caesar does not carry the olive branch to the people,
He merely wears it as a crown.
Trust in God, In God we trust.

It is possible that we can find rebirth
In the pangs of knowing how authority
Speaks, and where authority rests.
