Relics of Time
A trickling trail of water rolls as the Earth weeps
Cool cascading teardrops pooling up to gently seep
Messages into ancient stones submerged in streams
Rippling in their worship of clear mountain dreams
Gathering into rivers carving time into God’s Earth
Surrendering their life to the bounty of their birth

~Barefoot in Stream~
Linda,
When I wrote this poem, I was reflecting on a time when I was about 4 years old; I was walking in a crystal clear moving stream with barefeet. I can still remember how excited I was. That was a long, long time ago...but I can still recall it like yesterday.
Thanks for your encouragement!
Kathy xo
