Red Roses on the Shore
Red roses roll in with the tide
A bouquet of scent streaming
Long stems flow into the sand
From shore to shore, red spills
Petals falling against seashells
Waves of red velvet blossoms
Thorns pressed into seaweed
Gracefully ebbing in the dawn
Fragrant fields of flowers turn
Passionately drifting into earth
A cup of red wine flowing over
Sinking into a thirsty shoreline
Love letters from fallen heroes
Hearts returning home from war

A Wonderful Reminder
This is so powerful...sad and touching. My little brother will spend Christmas in Iraq, while his new baby celebrates his first Christmas here. We miss him dearly but are proud of him and his service to our country. There are so many that give so much.....this is a wonderful reminder.

~Courage~
Jill,
I cannot imagine the anguish of fighting in a war. My heart goes out to all families that will be spending Christmas with the loss of a loved one. There is nothing more profound than to lay down your life for truth.
May all hearts join together in the celebration of Christmas. Christmas is remembering the gifts we receive through out the year.
Thank you for your kindness.
Peace on earth, good will to all her people.
Warm regards,
Kathy
