Presence
Nature’s bridge tangled free
Crossing into day’s majesty
A world’s vision in between
Need and what hearts glean
A school of fish into the sea
A flock of birds in rhapsody
Quest upon stepping stones
Solitude knit in tired bones
Immersed in treasures of air
Free falling into our despair
Caught in a world of imagery
Transfigured into our destiny
Surrounded in nature’s stead
Planting seeds in loving heads
Romanced by the rolling river
A Kingdom our God delivered

~Nature Promises Us Treasures~

Connecting with nature is Biblical; check out the promises imbedded in Luke 12:22-34
God feeds us day-by-day, like the ravens (vrs. 22-24)
We are much more valuable to God than birds (vrs. 24)
God clothes us beautifully, like the lilies of the field (vrs. 27-28)
We don't need to worry because our Father knows our needs (vrs. 29-30)
If we seek God's kingdom, then He will give us all that we need (vrs. 31)
We do not need to be afraid, for our Father has been pleased to give us His kingdom (vrs. 32)
We have heavenly treasure that is secure forever (vrs. 33)
Nature is such a gift.
