Mirror Images
Time stood quietly at the mirror
Infinity defined in the reflections
Stars unwinding in lavender eyes
Porous the clouds of bent rhyme
Moments conceived into oceans
Tears overflowing in love’s own
Vessels pouring heaven into cups
Upon waves of love, God drinks
What all of creation mourns for
A glimpse of forever in kindness
Wisdom to know the difference
Humility to make the difference
Courage to face all uncertainty
And the time to see each other
As we really were meant to be
Mirrors that reflect what matters
Time and matter, it changes it all

Milton's Paradise Found
Leaking Pen
Dear Kathy
If Milton is alive today, he would have changed the theme of his Master Peace poem from Paradise Lost to Paradise hope or Paradise found, no matter what there is always that shining star that lights up the darkest winter skies in your poetry, hope always finds a home in you heart, in your humanity, endless source of all that is good, of all that is love, reflection from your heart's mirror
Truly
Paul
Paradise Found
Paul,
Thank you for your thought filled comments. Your thoughtfulness is so refreshing. I always look forward to hearing from you. You make life beautiful.
Hope is our sundial; no matter what time it is, there is always a reason for hope. Opportunity is designed to reward us; hope is designed to complete us. Without hope, I wouldn't have a reason to sing, write, or dance.
I believe that the arts are the hope of spring, the promise of heaven.
You, dear sir, are an ambassador of hope; this is why I love you.
Love,
Kathy

Soul Satisfaction
Another bowl of soup for the soul - delicious and most satisfying. What a great way to start the day, as I did, waking up and reading this. It reminded me of the Prayer of Serenity, especially with your line, "Wisdom to know the difference". I loved the line, "Mirrors that reflect what matters" - that really nailed it for me. You write poetry for the ages, my dear friend. God bless.
Warmest regards,
Chris
If You Believe
Chris,
You have been a soul mirror for me. You have given me the confidence to leap instead of walk, fly instead of run.
No matter how we spin our tales, we are linked; even the thoughts that find their way on the page, were thoughts that were given to us. Being thoughtful is the best we can do to communicate love in a world of pain.
Writing is an energy that reminds us to be the light for each other's path. You certainly light up my life.
Thanks dear friend,
Kathy
