Miracles of Water
Akin to heaven, our guardians pour
Water into golden chalices of lore
A vintage wine of Christ, the Lord
Miracles wedded to what is stored
Mercy fermented with Earth’s love
A Communion Feast with a red dove
Into all things there is a living flame
We are conceived by God’s holy rain
Within the hearts of every born soul
Is a thirst to make our bodies whole
Fractured rites of mind and of bread
We are as wheat, living of the dead
"Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over.” - John 12:24

Prophetic Poetry
Dear Kathy,
This is such a beautiful and positive poem, full of faith and wisdom. I love the way it flows, like the very subject on which you write - a true work of art. Love your work!
Kind regards,
Chris
Blessed Is the Rain
Chris,
You are my watering can. You have a way of bringing comments that go straight to the root. I sincerely appreciate your faith in my word fashions.
Like a dot to dot picture (remember those?), I am always trying to finish the picture. I lift my mind into the clouds and pray for rain.
Love,
Kathy :)

Rain Dance
Dear Kathy,
Your prayers for rain came true ... for me, anyway! LOL It's raining here, today. I do remember those dot-to-dot pictures, and have even used some of them in my teaching here in elementary school (the picture usually relating to the topic that day - e.g. animals, Christmas, etc). I think my life has been like a dot-to-dot image, and I never imagined the picture that I see before my eyes today. Heh.
Love and best wishes,
Chris xo
