Mankind's Afar, His Star
Hour glass sands sift through ages
An ancient rite of wilderness pages
A destiny etched within each mind
Seeking the Light man left behind
Light years behind a solar curtain
Stars illuminate all known certain
Our birth rite was formed in Light
Passages of time within each night
Brilliant planet of mankind’s afar
Following God into countless stars
A Kingdom come of super novas
Awaken angel’s songs to show us
Desert ships drifting within sand
Igniting all hearts to understand
Light to light and night to night
Precious humanity into His sight
Born by night in a manger bare
An infant Light will be our stair
Ascending into His Belt of Orion
With infinity’s light to soar upon
