Into the Eye of the Needle
Thread the needle
The eye is watching
Your eyes narrow
To tiny slits of light
Camel stands patient
Hopeful to gain entry
Into God’s infinite eye
This path is narrow
A singular vision
To sow a world
To know His name
For some, a vision
For many, division
For others, the game
The laws of the land
Cannot steady the hand
To seek is to find
Gather your camel
On the path of righteousness
Truth will not leave you behind
Camel crossing straight ahead

good poem Kathy
I especially like the line" to sow a world". I like the dual theme of to sow or plant, or to sew, to stitch together. Great. Some will grow and thrive, others need repair. Ideas can be planted, words and ideas can also repair as much as they can tear down. I prefer the positive. Thanks Kathy I enjoyed this one. Good thoughts. raskin
