Incidental Music
Life began in the key of C
No sharps, flats, or gravity
Emptiness poured in time
A gentle heartbeat it finds
Unwinding from the deep
Into ocean waves so steep
Effortlessly falling in tones
God’s womb, fossils, bones
Making thirst a universal call
A living planet of stars to fall
Seeds splattered in living hue
Waiting for sight to see blue
Water planet of a sea and sky
Into the universe we realize
We are the incidental music
Accidentals of all the theory
The unexpected force of love
The changes we all dream of
“Be the change you wish to see.” - Gandhi

Hi Kathy,
I agree with the lesson this poem imparts: the change we want starts from within ourselves!
I'm glad to see you're still as impressive and thoughtful as before.
Thank you for lingering and sharing us the blessing of your words.
All the best,
Eric Roxas
Life Lessons
Hi Eric,
It is great to hear from you. Thank you for stopping by my poetry and taking a dip.
I am still writing, it is my meditation. I try to do it daily, but it doesn't always happen.
I hope you are still writing too. I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful nature.
I pray that 2013 is being good to you.
Blessings,

Yes,
I actually am writing again after conquering a horrible 2-year writer's block. Hopefully, the muses will lead my hand in writing a poem worthy of a space here in everypoet. But for now, I'm very much content in reading others' works. :)
Welcome Back Eric
Eric,
You are such a tease ... your heart plays poetry ... like a breeze ... this I know.
I am delighted you are back, your poetry is so you.

Musically Gifted
Hi Kathy,
I admire the way you see things in terms of music - I was intrigued by your very first line; in fact I'm still thinking about that one. LOL. Once again I love the simplicity and the relaxing feel of your poetry, the use of rhythm and rhyme, and the lovely themes that you weave through your tapestry of words. Ghandi's quote was a wonderful way to finish.
Kind regards,
Chris
