Heart Blossoms
The soul eclipsed in black rain
Remains dormant in all its pain
Sorrow’s tears rise to overflow
In poppy fields where red sows
Blossoming hearts against Earth
Dreams sown for a world’s worth
If not to dream, then what are we
Amid the blossoms of our destiny?
Budding fires of a universe’s call
Passion lives where love does fall

Amid the Blossoms
Dear Kathy, are you like me?
Do you deal with melancholy?
Even at this time of the year,
Sometimes we release a tear.
There is such beauty in this life,
But sadness, challenges, sometimes strife,
Threaten to darken our clear blue sky,
We have to ponder the reason why.
I wish you happiness, dear friend,
I hope to see your smile again,
For it is the sun on a rainy day,
It blows the dark clouds far away.
May you find the love you need,
Don't let too long, your heart to bleed,
"Passion lives where love does fall",
May you find that place, and have a ball!
Warmest regards,
Love, Chris xo
Symbolism, What Does It All Mean?
Chris,
Symbolism is so rich. Every great story is full of symbolism.
You are a master of the heart. You know what I mean, even when I am using the power of flowers, colors, and mystery.
Yes, my heart has been a bit heavy. I appreciate your insight. I wrote this to arouse my heart to open and blossom into waves of peace.
Christmas is a beautiful season, and yes, it can have its sad moment too. I do not long for the treasures of the mall, I long for the treasures of the heart.
I want what we all want ... what can never be bought ... true love.
True love it is what changes everything.
Give God for Christmas and the meaning of life will come full circle.
Thanks for loving me.

Give what is Caesar's to Caesar
Leaking Pen
Dear Kathy
Heart Of The True Sunflower
First of all, I want to wish you a peaceful Christmas, and a hopeful new year, your poem touched my heart, I feel the agony and sadness your meditative lines, although beautifully constructed, I like you shy away from the commercialization - birth of hope-, but I do realize part of it geared towards each child in us, although this child has grown, I do have found memories from my childhood, the excitement of being part of spirit that rang hope and blessing and gifts from Santa, now that I am older, I am more tolerant for about over the top "Christmasation" of shopping malls , let the children of this generation have their fun, I on the other hand politely turn the other cheek, and "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's but give to God what is God's."
Love always
xoxo

Peace on Earth
Paul,
It is easy to practice the gift of homemade gifts when one is without the funds. It seems for every negative there is a positive.
Thank you for your continued friendship and kindness this year. I truly appreciate your good heart.
By the way, I do believe in Santa Claus. :)
Blessings,
Kathy :o)
Beautiful, elegantly composed poetry.
This is beautiful, elegantly composed poetry, Kathy. I found this impressive work to be creative, wonderfully artistic, and vividly picturesque. I truly enjoyed this, and highly admire the way you were able to to relate such grace, and heartfelt emotion throughout your words. Your lovely writes continue to both motivate and inspire me, and I sincerely thank you for sharing this.
God bless you,

Thank you for always finding time for my art. You are a blessing.
Merry Christmas dear buddy and the happiest of New Years ... 2013!
