Come to the Water
Kindness is a waterfall
Pouring into humanity
Refreshment for living
The balm for forgiving
Streams of selflessness
Absolving all discourse
A mirror of reflections
Twinkling in revelation
That we are connected
In thoughts and deeds
We are the cup of life
What others thirst for
Desires to be complete
On earth and in heaven
A passionate response
To prepare each other
As a loving sanctuary
For God’s compassion
To enter this holy day

Coming to the water
Philip Winchester
Your waterfall of written kindness.
sparks only comments from two
of one hundred readers Why is That?
Is it an inbuilt apathy of doubt in the readers
ability to compile a few words of praise,
as a thank you for sharing,a God Given
talent that perhaps they just seek for themselves?
I would like to shout your Praise...and not need
reply or thanks or need to look about to see if
anyone is watching.Your ability I know will grow the more
I read, and what`s more Mine may be polished into the bargain.
Kind Regards Philip
~It is Written~
Philip,
You are a scholar and a gentleman. I warmly accept your kindness, it flowed right through me.
I love to write. I am learning that the art of reading others poetry is as beautiful as the comments.
Yes, many of us are on the same path, and for those that are searching for God, I believe our words will guide them.
Just one grain of God will change the way they move and think. Imagine how many grains of God have drifted through our thoughts and writing.
God is moving in this Poetry Showcase. I am in awe of the God given talent on this blog.
May our holidays be filled with God's verse.
Warm regards,
Kathy
