Autumn Rain

Rain melts autumn’s colors
Golden flames drizzling on
An orange harvest of leaves
Wading into brown streams
Gently pooling over emerald
Reflections of earth’s garden
Like Monarch butterfly wings
Falling from summer’s arms
To prepare the bed for winter
