Autumn Coats

Grains of thoughts sift as I walk
Amid the blessings of a fall day
Fires of trees stirring passions
Throwing leaves under my feet
Gentle reminders of yesterdays
Painting my path with their folly
Gathering in their autumn coats
To walk beside me into winter

As I read this piece, you make me feel like I'm walking with you. Great, Kathy, lovely!

~We Walk Together~

Sushil,

I imagine you and I are on the same journey.

Although I was walking alone, I believe you were there too. I recently walked Mockingbird Lane in Dallas, Texas and it was a perfect day. I became one with the breeze, the leaves, the sky, and all of those that walk with poet's eyes.

My daughter recently moved to Dallas. I came to be with her for Thanksgiving. Texas is beautiful in November.

Thanks for your sweet spirit, it lifts me.

Kathy
