He Looked Normal

he looked like anyone else
you might see walking
along the busy street
eternal shoe gazers
to busy
or scared
to catch someones eye

if you were lucky enough
(if you can call it that)
to see into his eyes
and really see whats there
the truth
could always
unravel your own sensibilites.

he looked normal.
like any other
man on the street.

hidden deep in those eyes
were all his secrets
that could spill out
and drive you mad, like
the knife
he hides
in his inner jacket pocket

and the bodies he'd hidden
buried under his house
in the dirt of the cellar
thirteen in total, and
if you
could tell
by his
dark eyes
he may never be caught.

he looked normal.
like any other
man on the street.

"hidden deep in those

"hidden deep in those eyes
were all his secrets
that could spill out
and drive you mad, like
the knife
he hides
in his inner jacket pocket"

i particularly liked this part...the breaks in the sentence bring out the thrill...scary poem =P
