The Game

The mark of ignominy,
Embarrassment and Shame,
Frolic of funny,
Laugh at a life, a game.

Kindly fortuitous,
Malicious fade,
Follow two roads you must,
That’s the way It’s played.

By Judgment or Zeal,
Selections are attained,
Left or Right, you make the kneel,
A choice with which emotions are aimed.

A happy ending,
A grasp at veracity,
Yet are you imagining,
A thrash at impracticality.

The strive walks,
Towards you in your trust,
In your mind it caulks,
Waking all your mistakes under dust.

A monotone adventure,
Through life and foundation,
Excoriating your cure,
Amending by compensation.

If you play it right,
Amnesty shall be your grant,
Constantly accomplish your maximum height,
Whatever a curve you may pant.

Rules are to follow,
You make your own escape,
No blame can cover what you reap or sow,
In your hands you control a fate.
