For as long as Ive lived Ive forgotten many things....

But Ive always had this one thought that has never left me....

Its the love and the comfort one person can bring....

And if I had another chance Id relive it if she'd let me....

For some thing that was oh so right yet oh so wrong....

I followed my heart until the end....

Now I sit and wonder and remember with sad songs....

and all I really wanted was to remain her friend....

Its hard to think about the future when you left it behind....

and move on with the feeling that we could have made it....

Some nights I even wonder if Im still on her mind....

and if she really knew how strong the love was that we had created....

I live on, moving strong, on a path bound for greatness....

But whats life without your true love by your side....

No forget her there's opportunities you better go ahead and take it....

Shes not there but I always see her when I open my eyes....

From the moment you walked into me I felt this sign of serenity....

While I cried my heart was listening, never thought that you would get to me....

But you did so this was meant to be, I just wish you would have went with me....

Now I wait and see if this memory will again become reality....

and be patient and I will carry it with me until my dying days....

to love you dearly is everything, to be your husband I will proudly be....

and If not I will take this lovers memory to the grave....
