Conflicting responsibilities
Create thinking disabilities
Stressing out over what I need to do
How do I keep on meeting
Situations that are competing
When my choices will make someone blue
Try to do what’s right for you
Try to be true to me too!
Maybe it’s time for trying something new
Something’s got to give!
Living other’s expectations
Leading to many deviations
My priorities haven’t got a chance
Stomach clenching in reaction
Another situation – another contraction
Walking through the day as in a trance
Try to be true to you

I love this poem!
It is so true that people want you to do one thing, but you want to do something else, but at the same time you want to make the other person happy. You are right when you say "Something's got to give" and usually it is what you want. Thanks for the read. Keep it up!!
