A Divided Soul
What happens when the soul is divided?
How do we cope when we are only a fraction of ourselves?
Part of us becomes impulsive,
the other half… indecisive!
One acts without thinking,
the other thinks without action.
One side speaks with good intensions,
while the other just acts!
Action without intent leads to circles.
Only the realization that we have been here before,
stumbled over the same problem again, and again,
gives the chance to change our ways.
Balance, the drawing together of our two halves
allows us see the problems of our choices,
instead of the patterns of our problems.
The walls of denial, built to stand forever
Fortified by both sides of our being,
need to be pulled down from the inside
or we will never get a glimpse of our patterns.
This glimpse is a gift!
A soul divided never has this chance!
