Upon the Twilight Hour
A gold and pink
Highlighting the ridge,
Like the light
Being turned on in a fridge.
Crystal sharp silhouettes
That your mind can't forget...
Bare trees,
A church tower,
As animals breathe,
Upon the twilight hour.
Perfect outlines
Immersed in black,
Clear for all to see
Even if you turn your back.
Day hasn't quite finished
But it's not yet night,
You can still see
There's just enough light.
As the clouds part
And the full moon comes clear,
Wispy, misty pieces half across
Making it look so strange and queer.
It happens each evening
If the times are just right
The magical time before
Day turns into night.

Beautiful Imagery
This is by far my favorite time of the day. Beautiful and strangely eerie all in one. As always, yet another amazing write, Jewel.
For all it's worth...
It's mine too
which is why I wrote about it, 9 times out of 10 if you can't find me at this time I'll just be wandering...thank you Jesse for your thoughts, I always appreciate them :) ♥
anytime...
and even if I leave no comment, I always find time to read your work...
For all it's worth...
and I yours
because they're so meaningful I need to go away and think about them, before I can put into words how powerful they are :) ♥
