If There's A God

If there's a god
Up there in the sky
Then why
Does he let people die?
Why
Does he let people lie?
Why does he
Do nothing to stop
The wars,
The poverty,
The hatred,
The lot?
If there's a god
Looking down on us
The he must regard himself
With the utmost disgust...
He must be ashamed
Of the world he's created,
The creatures of earth
He certainly underestimated.
Look what we've done
To the beautiful earth,
We've stripped away it's value
Like it's been put under a curse.
It's wrong
All that's happened
But we can't undo
What's been done,
Though it no longer can we ignore,
No more,
No more,
No more...
We need to remember
That we're just beings passing through,
We need to respect what's been given to us
Not proceed without a clue.
But if there really is a god
Up there in the sky
Then what I don't understand
Is why does he let these things happen....
Why?

nice poem

the answers to your questions are in my poem-he sees it, but he waits.

Thank you

I've read your poem now and I like what you've written, I hope more people read it too so they can maybe understand ♥
