I Hate My Skin!
I hate my skin
I always blush,
At the slightest embarrassing thing
Whenever I'm flustered or in a rush.
Then I go as red as my hair
Oh why can't I be tanned?
Instead of fairer than fair
Whiter than pebble-washed sand?
Why do I have freckles
A spattering of brown dots?
Why can't I be blemish free?
Don't even get me started on spots...
Why can't I be an all over bronze
Instead of a silver cream?
Why can't I have glossy sleek black locks
Instead of a bushy bright orange matted mane
Which makes me want to scream?
Why can't I change my complexion?
Why can't I change my skin?
A catalogue of new colourings
Is what I hope my fairy godmother will bring!

I love freckles! I have them too. They are so cute, you know. They add to a persons personality. They look darling sprinkled all over the place. Believe me!!! Just like the red hair. Do you know how many men love red hair??? And the fire in a red headed girl??? Just ask them! Someday , you are going to love all these things about you.

Linda is right though, one day you will learn to love yourself, right now, youth has a way of making you see everything in a negative light....red hair gurl friend...it's the craze these days! and freckles have only one description....sweet!.....and as for your fair skin, I know some women who would happily give their right arm for an innocent fair tone, it's almost angelic.....you have it all...you just cant see it yet:)

I think red-haired, fair-skinned chicks are hot! So do a lot of guys I know. Be comfortable with who you are. All these stupid magazines give women a bunch of unrealistic ideas about how they're supposed to look; it's the small imperfections and things like freckles which make women beautiful and real.
