Exploding Skies

A scooped bowl
spilling rich, golden soup
deep burgundy swirls
trailing from a dipped finger
dotting pink, hazy sprays
randomly around
magnifying the horizon
the sun clearly setting down,
passing its warm glow
straight to your eyes
an infectious, glorious wonder
exploding across the skies.

Wow!

This is so expressive and so intense. Excellent work!
Take care,
Mark

aw

Thank you Mark, when something's so inspiring as this it's easy to write about it! :D ♥

sunsets

Every once in a while in Florida, we get this Saharan dust from Africa that makes the sunsets this amazing reddish color. This poem makes me think of those... Lovely writing, Jewel.

I wish I could see those

for me there's nothing more amazing than a sunset...a beautiful, natural gift-you're so lucky to be able to see them like that! thanks so much neo :D ♥
