TERDROPS AND THE RAIN
A teardrop from my eyes fell into the sea
Releasing it makes one’s soul free
From the blue gone to gray, clouds above
A sudden tear fell on my face
When those tears from heaven were descending
They were descending with no anger nor violence
When they touched my temples soft
It felt as if the heavens were also weeping.
Weeping with compassion towards my heartache
Suddenly, the heavens cried no more
It was over and gone
Then I wondered afar into the silent places
Trying not to think of the tomorrows
Taughts ran through the darkness of my feminine mind
But not making clear the answers I was searching for
Bringing only darkness in my eye and sadness into my soul
I kept searching
Searching for the peace that my soul was so longing for
But I did not receive any
And the teardrops of heaven fell on my face once more.

It takes a poet to make
It takes a poet to make sadness sound so beautiful. Though this is of sadness, it has a certain serenity to it that is honest and pure. It is a beautiful write and very pleasant to read.

Such a skillful write from the heart, sad yes but reads beautifully,
They were descending with no anger nor violence, great verse.

This peice is a favorite for me. "and the taerdrops of heaven fell on my face once more" this brings it all together perfectly.
Thanks.
Nature's empathy
I love this! "Then I wondered afar into the silent places" is an amazing line. Wondering is the mind wandering and you are one of the few people I've seen make use of the double entendre inherent in that word.
Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too.
