Happy
Another day, just like the last
The future it seem mirrors the past
Our daily rituals, our jobs, and our lives
Coping with the kids, co-existing with our wives
Having a family, a house, and the everyday chores
To an outsider this all seems like a monotonous bore
Hugging your kids with all that feel
At the same time your broke and trying to deal
We try to change each other so we can stay sane
Become part of each other, like a link in a chain
Little smiles we share in passing
Hugging, kissing, and crying while laughing
Joking and screaming, then making up
These are things that fill up our cup
And occasionally the sex is better than ever
Happy, if not now---------Never!
