THE MIRROR’S GLASS

A life spent adrift
On seas with no end
A smothering mist cloaks my mind

Day after day
I have always believed
The truth I would finally find

I’ve been with the crowds

SONG LYRICS - WHERE DO YOU GO

WHERE DO YOU GO

A silent end
A fading friend
An ever…
An ever mounting fear

A tear stained eye
A question why
Another…
Another pointless year

A solemn stare
A mirror’s glare

MASTERPIECE

God made the Earth
The scriptures tell
As day by day
And just as well

For although he
Might well have made
All his creations
In a day

A purpose there
Most surely was
In taking time

GOODBYE

With tear filled eyes I’m left behind
A-walk in trance, still mystified
The rays of setting sun pierce through
As angel wings which carry you

Goodbye my hearts eternal love

WISDOM

Unto what shall our era be likened?
Are we like unto people of old?
Are we so far removed from the ancients of days,
We gain not from their story now told?

WINGS OF FIRE

WINGS OF FIRE

Into the darkened corners of desire
Long left standing upon
The un-swept floors of secret yearning
Have I strived to press your memory away

Which over time of endless days

BILLY & BENNY

BILLY & BENNY

You wake up in the morning
Get something for the pot
No longer can you tell
Just what is real and what is not
Peering through the blind
You’re taken by the morning rays

WHERE DO YOU GO

A silent end
A fading friend
An ever mounting fear

A tear stained eye
A question why
Another pointless year

A solemn stare
A mirror’s glare
And nothing’s left inside

UNTO WHAT END

Is there purpose left in going on
Is there something yet to find
Uncounted days of rise and fall
Have left me far behind

What is the point in trying to feel
What they tell me I should feel

BY THEIR FRUITS

I cannot help but wonder as I wander through this life
And try to find a purpose in this world of toil and strife

Why don’t I have a Moses or a Noah as my guide

A PRAYER UNANSWERED

Waking I find
Another chill encrusted day
Awaits me
Where I shall walk alone in step of time
To the blighted rhythm
Of what must be
And the looming shadows
Of what might have been

HOW LONG

How long can rolling waters stay
Impure in their decree
How long can all the world behold
The many signs they see
And not consider what is meant
And come to understand

MANSIONS

Two sons of God who equal were
Stood on their lots of ground
On Heaven’s splendid landscape waiting
Their turn to go down

Both men had sketched a million times

MOTHER

I can’t give up, I can’t give in
I wonder if I’m ever gonna fly again
Though I’ve tried and tried, it still went wrong
Mother do you think they’ll drop…
The bomb

WINTER

The morning air
To which I have awoken
Whispers softly upon me
The subtle signs of change

For the aroma of distant fire
Has joined the newly fallen frost
To greet me in the dim of dawn
