Controllers are all around
Wanting to steal your soul
Wanting to tell you what to do
So they can feel more whole

They wipe your life upon their sleeve
Devouring as they go
But sometimes we don’t notice it
They creep in nice and slow

Then you notice chunks of you
Have somehow slipped away
Your God given right to choose
Has been stolen from your day

Jesus paid an awesome price
Individuals He has made
All with paths to follow Him
With choices we must make

The journey is a gift from Him
We can follow and obey
It’s not the place of others
To take that joy away
