Jesus Greatest Concern For Us At the End Of The Age
What was the cry
Of Jesus heart
When asked about times
We are about to embark
“Last Days” asked the ones
Who traveled so close
To the Master Himself
What were His woes (see Matthew 24)
Sorrow and warning
For what is to come
He laid it out plainly
Repeating it some
Deception, deceivers
Are ready to come
To try the hearts
Of the ones called His own
It’s not the world
They are trying to get
They’re in their pocket
But not the elect
Can we be deceived?
Is it possible now?
Things creep in slowly
Take defenses down
Will you be amazed
At the power they will show
Lying signs and wonders
Even lightenings will glow
How do I know this?
It’s our only defense
To know Jesus Words
That are heaven sent
I know by His Word
There is nothing to hide
It's open and out there
His truth to abide
Will you dig deep
And know for yourself
God will speak to you personally
And show you His wealth
Wealth is His wisdom
Pure, peaceable and true
If you humble and ask Him
He will show them to you
I beg you my friend
Don’t take my word
Find out for yourself
Take time to secure
Secure your own soul
With the Words that are truth
So deception can’t creep in
And steal your new birth
As strong as I am
I must humble myself too
And fall at His feet
Asking anew
His Word is alive
Living bread, quenching thirst
Don’t forsake your protection
In this hour so cursed
Crawl into the Bible
Dwell with the One
Let Him take you in safety
Noah’s ark is His Son
The signs that follow
The only true God
Are miracles and healings
It’s all in His word
“These signs shall follow
Them that believe” (Mark 16:17)
Know what they are
Lest you be deceived
Search for His truth
Don’t look to another
Proverbs says
He’ll be closer than a brother
I’m screaming out loud friend
Please run to Him
The hour is close
We are so near the end.

~Matthew 24~
Jean,
This is excellent! It is well written. It holds you tightly, like the Father's arms. It is such an act of love to care about us. My heart swelled when I read it. Thanks for your gift! Peace be with you.
Warm regards,

Thank you so much for your input Kathy! I'm so glad that what was in my heart was able to be conveyed. Sometimes you don't know if it is getting across until you hear from someone else.
Thank you so much!
