What makes love so believable?
Have you ever just pondered the thought
Think of the ones all around you
There’s a difference sometimes I have caught

Some give you love out of duty
Some give you love to be seen
Some give you love cause they need it back
Some just don’t like to be mean

But some give love that is lasting
It always stands out in a crowd
They love you when you’re happy and laughing
They love you when you’re down and out

That is good but there’s deeper
The deepest love that I’ve found
Is the one that is willing to give up
Something to bring love around

Sacrifice is what I am thinking
That makes love so deep and so real
The motive so pure you can see it
No doubting that it’s the real deal

Now my thoughts go to the Savior
I always had the question of “why”?
Did He come and die so gruesomely
Was it to show us His love was not a lie
