The Calling
Are you ready now?
Ready to fly?
You’ve been trained all your life
Though you’ve not known why
Carefully carved
By lifes chosen trials
I’ve made you ready
I’ve heard the cries
The cries you raised
To My Father’s ears
Crying for justice
Crying great tears
The hour upon us
You must walk alone
Alone in your spirit
Bowing at Father’s throne
No one can take you
On the journey ahead
It’s only My leading
That will keep you fed
No one to catch you
No net below
Just a faith in Me
That through the years did grow
You know, you know
I need you to lead
Laying down past failures
You are different now - you’ll see
Wisdom gained
You know it’s true
You have tested Me
As I have tested You
In tandem we are
Me and you
You know my heart
Know what I am gonna do
I need your voice
To raise it high
I have chosen you
It matters not why
