I have a friend
That you may know
Though most don’t call Him friend
He is the One we all can know
If you choose to go seek Him

Most of us just run away
Scary He may seem
He holds the weather in His hands
How could He know our dreams

Some silly lies, been told to us
That He is oh so far
To far to know the likes of us
To big to really care

He really is a sweetheart
Does that catch you by surprise?
As we press in to know Him
His love melts all those lies

Don’t let yourself get robbed
Of the greatest Love on earth
Forget what you’ve been told of Him
Go find out what you’re worth

The answers found within a book
The greatest Book on earth
But you must take the journey yourself
You must take a look

Don’t forget to ask for help
After all who knows Him best
Ask for wisdom from above
He will grant your request

Seek Him, seek Him
Do it again
For treasure you must seek
He holds the heavens in His hands
