Lessons From A Blueberry

Crazy lessons all around
If we can be aware
Take the gentle blueberry
Growing sweet and fair

It grows in an acidic soil
Seems it thrives that way
How crazy that does sound
What has nature got to say?

Sometimes in bad environments
We can find ourselves
But don’t despair, there’s something there
Hear revelation’s bell

The sweetest fruit can come from this
For us and blueberries too
It takes a little effort
But God can get us through

So if you’re up against a wall
Maybe it’s not so bad
Don’t let it now defeat you
Change what you have said

Lessons from a blueberry
In time it does produce
Two seasons in the growing
But comes the sweetest juice!
