Sweet inner peace
That comes from above
Not subject to change
When it’s based on His Word

All things around
May change like the wind
But the peace that’s inside
Outward changes transcends

I think that is why
We must build on the Rock
There is nothing that can happen
That our Lord, it will shock

My heart it rejoices
In such security
That place inside
In the spirit we are free

Rock solid are His truths
Eternity will show
All things that He said
All things that He knows

Can be trusted to stand
All the tests of time
All the waves of the changes
'Til heaven and earth align

Sweet inner peace
That comes from above
The Rock we can stand on
Sweet gift of His Love
